Bug Garden Dice Race
Roll the dice, move your bug through the garden, and watch out for flowers, leaves, and sleepy snails. It's a quick, screen-free game that keeps little hands busy.
Suggested ages
Ages 3-8
Setup
- Print the board and bug tokens (2 pages total).
- Cut out the tokens and choose one per player.
- Grab any die, or use a number spinner.
How to play
- Everyone starts on the Start square.
- Roll the die and move forward that many spaces.
- Land on a special square? Follow the garden rule below.
- First bug to reach Finish wins.
Garden rules
- Flower: move ahead 1 extra space.
- Leaf: slide back 1 space.
- Ladybug: take another roll.
- Snail: skip your next turn.
Quick variations
- Easy mode: use a 1-3 spinner instead of a die.
- Challenge mode: name a real garden item before you can move.
