Space Mission Dice Race
Blast off from the launch pad, zoom past comets, and reach the finish line first. It's a quick, screen-free game for kids who love rockets and a little friendly competition.
Suggested ages
Ages 3-8
Setup
- Print the board and space tokens (2 pages total).
- Cut out the tokens and choose one per player.
- Grab a die or a number spinner.
How to play
- Everyone starts on the Launch square.
- Roll the die and move forward that many spaces.
- Land on a special space? Follow the mission rule below.
- First explorer to reach Finish wins.
Mission rules
- Star: move ahead 1 extra space.
- Comet: slide back 1 space.
- Rocket: take another roll.
- Moon: skip your next turn.
Quick variations
- Easy mode: use a 1-3 spinner instead of a die.
- Team mode: play in pairs and talk through each move together.
