Shape Memory Match
A simple, screen-free memory game that helps kids recognize and name common shapes. Print the cards, cut them out, and play anywhere.
Suggested ages
Ages 3-7
Setup
- Print both pages on cardstock or regular paper.
- Cut out the 24 shape cards.
- Optional: laminate for repeated play.
How to play
- Shuffle cards and place them face down in a grid.
- Players flip two cards to find a matching pair.
- Keep pairs. The player with the most matches wins.
Quick variations
- Easy mode: play with 6 pairs only.
- Challenge mode: name the shape and one real-world example when you find a match.
