Print-and-play travel game
Road Trip Bingo
This is the little game I keep within reach when the back-seat wiggles begin. Kids watch the world outside, spot familiar things, and mark their card as you travel.
Suggested ages
Ages 3-8
Setup
- Print one card per child.
- Bring pencils or washable crayons.
- Place cards on clipboards or sturdy books (optional).
How to play
- Watch safely through the window while you travel.
- Mark a square when you spot the matching thing.
- Five marked squares in a row wins.
Quick variations
- Easy mode: work together to mark any eight squares.
- Harder mode: fill all four corners before anyone calls bingo.
- For pre-readers, an adult can quietly read each square before the trip begins.
Safety note: the driver should keep eyes on the road and leave the spotting to passengers.
